Prophet Passion Java’s sister has been dragged to court on fresh fraud charges involving US$75 000.

Madzivanzira has numerous pending cases at the Harare magistrates court
involving fraud. She is a former employee of the City of Harare. According to H
Metro prosecutors claim that in December last year, the complainant was looking
for a residential stand to buy in and around Harare.
Madzivanzira,
together with her accomplice Danai Mawire who is still at large, got the
information and offered the complainant Stand number 877 Quinnington Township
of Stand 163 Quinnington Township, Harare. They allegedly used fraudulent
documents, which they claimed were from the City of Harare, and charged the
complainant US$75,000.
The offence
came to light when the complainant approached the City of Harare for plan
approval and was told that the stand was not a property of the City of Harare
but was privately owned.
She was
released on US$300 bail and was ordered not to interfere with witnesses until
the matter is finalised.
