Zari Hassan says she stayed in her hotel room in Birmingham because she was not paid by the promoter.
“There was some kind of misunderstanding
between me and the promoter. Obviously, this a business and people have to be
paid and all that stuff, and if certain things are not met according to the
agreement between me and the promoter there is no way I would leave my hotel
room to attend the club. There is no way I could have flown 24 hours from
Africa to be in the UK and not come the white party.
It got to four when the club is almost
closing and for me there is no payment and this person is literally forcing to
go to the club and I am like, how, it’s a business I need to be paid so in the process
now the promoter is leaking our passports with my husband to bloggers. I do
not know what is the motive. At this point I do not care.”
Olinda who chronicled how the whole drama
unravelled said Zari was owed $1 500 by the promoter. She said the event was
doomed from the start as the promoter was strapped for cash and her chaotic
organisation. Olinda said she tried to bail the promoter out but, in the end,
she had to walk away.

She also explained why she wanted to have solo pictures saying, even in marriage, one wanted photographs without hubby, sometimes. |
