Joey Nyikadzino says she was left out of pocket by some US$1000 after what she described as a nightmarish experience at two airports in Turkey. She said her problems began when she was blocked from boarding a flight heading to Johannesburg via Israel. She was told she had to have a visa to connect in Israel. Joey said she thought she did not need a visa as she was just in transit. She was advised to connect via Instanbul and for that she had to buy another ticket. She said she was frustrated and angry but had little choice. In Instanbul her problems worsened as she was told her Joburg ticket had been cancelled and had to buy another one. "Havagone English yacho, apo hatisi kumbonzwanana, gaya, apa unenge usina mari. Zvabva zvanetsa paye ndabursta. Ndabatwa rough yekuti ndikazvifunga ndirikunzwa kubhowekana." She said she was later given a one o'clock in the morning flight. She said she will never use Turkish Airlines again after that horrible experience.
