In new audios, she said was shocked when
she spoke to the owner of the house who confirmed that the house was still on
the market. Mai TT said when she asked Tinashe about it, he was dismissive and abusive,
referring her to one Panashe whom he said had authority over the house.
She said she never believed that Tinashe
could afford to buy her a house because she knew how much he earned. She then tried
to get all the property in the house to sell off to pay wedding debts.
“I spent all of my US$50 000 savings on my
wedding because I wanted the best. Tinashe contributed about US$10 000. The wedding
cost upwards of US$100 000. I borrowed thousands from my friends and I now
regret doing so.”
She also revealed that Tinashe abused her
while she was still in the USA but “I covered for him because I loved him.”
She never wanted to marry him but he put
pressure on her and fast tracked the wedding.
