Moira Knight has dragged chanter Seh Calaz, demanding upkeep for their son saying she is not employed and survives on handouts from her parents.
She told a Harare
magistrate that Seh Calaz makes at least US$8 000 a month from his live shows. The
musician charges between US$1 800 and US$2 000 per each live show and holds an
average of four shows a month. He also has two studios, where he charges US$40
per recording session.
According to H Metro, Magistrate Judith Taruvinga postponed
the hearing to Friday to allow Moira to substantiate her claims.
Seh Calaz opposed the claim and is expected to argue his case this Friday. Moira is demanding US$300 in rentals, electricity (US$120), Gas (US$45), Maid (US$100), Clothes (US$110) and Transport (US$100).
