Gift who was an illegal immigrant in Botswana was shot and severely injured by his employer following a row over pay. That was in 2013. Despite losing his arms, Botswana government detained and sought to deport him to Zimbabwe. But he fought hard and  today he is still in the country. He is married with a child and is now a DJ.
