An American woman who met and married a boda boda rider in
a village in Kenya says God led her to her man. Carey Joy (35) said
she waited a year before Albert Wanyonyi (28) plucked up the courage to woo
her. Albert said he fell in love with Carey the moment he laid his eyes on her.
She had opened a church in his village. But he did not speak a word of English
and had learn a bit of the language before opening up to Carey. He said he was straight to the point – I love you. She told
him that she had been waiting for him as God had said to her. The two started a
relationship and later got married in October 2018. She said she loved the
simple life and used to live in a mud hut. She does not want to live in the city. The couple now has two children. |
