“Being a public figure comes with public scrutiny. What is important is how the public figure reacts and responds to the said negativity/ falsehoods peddled against them. In the past I felt the need to respond or justify myself until I realised sometimes telling your side of the story escalates the issue. I am not immune to these attacks but years of having my name dragged through the mud have toughened me up and I have matured and come to the standpoint that silence speaks volumes.,” she told Wheels magazine.
