RETIRED NURSE SUCCUMBS TO CORONA IN THE UK

Coronavirus has claimed yet another Zimbabwean nurse in the UK, this time a retired nurse who had returned to work.

Rachel Makombe-Chikanda, (67) spent 21 days fighting for life on a ventilator but lost the battle last Friday at Royal London Hospital. She is survived by three daughters and seven grandchildren. Her family said she was a great professional who had returned to work because she loved her job.
