The government has dismissed as nonsense reports that the
special mausoleum that was being built would have housed other heroes as well.
Former president, Robert Mugabe was set to be laid to rest
in the mausoleum before his wife, Grace Mugabe changed her mind. The site for
the mausoleum had been picked by Mugabe’s sons, Robert Jr and Chatunga and
traditional chiefs and construction work had started
“It was only for Cde Mugabe,” a source told The Herald.
Construction was still going on yesterday although the government said this
would now stop.
