This is Vimbai Chapungu, who made history by becoming the
first black beauty to be crowned Miss London 2019. Vimbai who is 24 years old
and doing her Masters at a top London university recently competed in the Miss England Finals.
She rocked her natural hair at the finals. She said :“Black
hair is still being policed in today's society, and it is only now that people
are talking about it, thanks to the few women who have fought for the
normalisation of natural hair".
