Cristiano Ronaldo's mother says she is fighting for her
life after her cancer returned.
Dolores Aveiro, 64, who underwent surgery and radiotherapy
after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, says she has had another
operation on her other breast, as well as a new course of radiotherapy.
The mother of four
told a Portuguese TV station in an interview: “I was operated on another
breast in Madrid, I’ve had radiotherapy and now I’m fighting for my life.”
She made this known after she attacked Cristiano's rape
accuser Kathryn Mayorga over her claims that she was raped by her footballer son.
'I have confidence in my son when it comes to what
happened,' she said. 'When she went there, it wasn't to play cards. It was to
do something. I know the son I have.'
