Chris Brown has been arrested in France after a woman
claimed he had sexually assaulted her.
The tabloid Closer initially reported that a 24-year-old
woman alleged Brown raped her on 15 January after meeting him at a nightclub in
France. The woman also claims that one of
Brown's acquaintances also abused
her.
Two police officials said Brown and two other people are in
custody in Paris today. Brown was detained on Monday and is still in custody
Tuesday while police study the complaint, they said.
One of the others detained is said to be Brown's bodyguard,
according to one of the police officials.
