Teachers want the government to exempt them from paying school fees for their children. They are also pushing the government to introduce several new allowances, among them grade 7 allowance, invigilation allowance and ECD risk allowance.
This emerged as the Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe met President Mnangagwa today. The PTUZ leadership, led by its President, Dr Takavafira Zhou and Secretary General Raymond Majongwe, described the meeting as historic.
