ZANU PF DEFEATS MDC IN PARLY

Zanu PF has won the Parliament and Senate polls. Jacob Mudenda has been elected the new Speaker while Mable Chinomona is the new Senate President.

Chinomona polled 52 votes while Morgen Komichi had 22 votes.   Advocate Jacob Francis Mudenda defeated MDC Alliance nominee Paurina Mupariwa. Mudenda secured 179 votes against Mupariwa’s 79.
