Chimurenga legenda, Thomas Mapfumo has promised to do his best to convince the great Lovemore Majaivana to return home. Many of his fans have for a long time been clamouring for Majaivana to perform once again but so far he has resisted.

Veteran broadcaster, Ezra Sibanda said :"I had a long chat with the legendary Chimurenga music icon Thomas Tafirenyika The Hurricane Hugo  Mukanya Mapfumo in Leicester this afternoon. We discussed a lot of things music wise, our country and life in general. We discussed on how we can convince his friend, the legendary Lovemore Majaivana to do a come back for the sake of his fans. They always meet in USA and on his return to States Mukanya promised to try his best to convince Majee and is confident he will manage."
