The MDC will not be
holding a congress anytime soon, according to Job Sikhala. He said “No congress
will come any time soon. We are focused on reclaiming our stolen victory. Our
President Adv Nelson Chamisa is on a national blitzkrieg to thank the people
and seek direction from them on the way forward. He even had time to warn the
party that desperate ZANU PF are concocting friction in the party so that we
focus internally. Whoever, is doing this is on wild goose chase.
Be reassured our supporters that the unity in our party is
unprecedented. We are in the process of integrating everyone into the party of
the people, the party of excellence the MDC. The party has now become a
formidable fortress that it is now impenetrable. These attempts to divide us
will come to nothing.”
