The 22 MDC supporters who were dragged out of MDC
Headquarters in Harare and arrested by cops are set to appear at the Rotten Row
magistrate's court this morning.
The 22 are David Shambare, Samson Nerwande, Chancellor
Nyamande, Christopher Nikisi, Ngoni Makazhu, Eddy Machakaire, Farai Nyahuna,
Tonderai Chakuna, Livenice Kachana, Tichaona Daniel, Tapiwa John, Munyaradzi
Chibanda, Justice Mugashu, Shadreck Mashayamombe, Judith Chacha , Mercy
Mataramvura, Angeline Mukoko, Tendai Torerwa, Anna Chezhira, Agatha Mubaiwa,
Lilian Kamu and a yet to be identified man from Mbare.
The 22 signed a warned and cautioned statements last night.
They are being charged with what the party described as flimsy allegations of
public violence.
