Tendai Biti’s lawyer has just told SABC that Biti will present himself to the police at 2 pm this afternoon “to hear what they wish to discuss”.
He said Biti was neither a flight risk, nor a person whose residence is unknown. ‘It is rather unusual for police to relay messages to persons they wish to speak to through media’
Biti is one of the Alliance leaders who stands accused of making inflammatory statements leading to violence by MDC supporters. POSA was invoked and soldiers killed thred people in cold blood.
