It's almost as if we feel the need to explain to people why we would do such an "Immoral" thing and we often believe that the only way our immorality can be pardoned is if there is a fairytale to our tattoos. A reason deeper than "I just like it" because how dare you do something to your body because you like it?

Once I realised that it's my body I stopped explaining my tattoos to people I don't care about. I have 3 tattoos, only 1 has meaning and that is fine.
