Former President, Robert Mugabe says he will vote for MDC
leader, Nelson Chamisa. He said he will not vote for President Mnangagwa who
has been tormenting him.
“I can’t vote a party or those in power who are the people
that have brought me to this state. I can’t vote for them. I have said the 2
women presidential candidates don’t offer very much. So what is there? It’s
just Chamisa.”
Mugabe said it was painful that his face was not in the
ballot paper for the first time since 1980. “It’s painful but that’s the
reality.”
He said when he was ousted he had planned to resign at the
December Zanu PF congress last year and was going to support Sydney Sekeramayi
to take over.
He said that it was nonsense that he wanted his wife, Grace
to take over.
