A tenant has vanished with his landlord's car, a Toyota Ipsum. Norman Mateu lied to the landlord’s children that he was taking the car to her father’s workplace.Deputy Manicaland provincial police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Luxson Chananda said cops are now hunting for Mateu. He said Mateu started cleaning the vehicle before driving off. The landlord’s daughter questioned him before jumping in as Mateu reversed.
He drove off with her. “It is, however, not clear how and when the daughter was dumped. He drove off along Magamba Road in Zimta Park heading towards Mutare city centre,” said Ass Insp Chananda.
