THE Summer Fiesta featuring Sulu, Jah Prayzah and Diamond
Platinumz ended prematurely in Birmingham when fans turned rowdy.
Diamond did not perform as the show was cut short. Fans crashed through the barrier and ended up right in front of the stage
after overpowering security.
Some fans perched on speakers while drunks poured booze on
sound equipment. This infuriated the sound engineer who turned off the system.
He refused to turn it back on. This was at 2 a.m when Diamond was about to go
on stage.
Some fans were angered when the show ended and began
throwing bottles onto the stage.
Jah Prayzah apologised :”My apologies to all masoja in
Birmingham (in the picture) nekusazopedzisa show the way we wanted as the sound
engineers ended up just switching everything off just before the end of our set
for reasons best known to them. But it was a good show, good vibes and thank
you thank you nekuuya kwamakaita. I love you all.”
