Former president, Robert Mugabe and his wife, Grace say
they have no money outside Zimbabwe.
But the couple have said they owned three properties in
foreign lands. - two properties in South Africa and another one in Hong Kong.
Grace told The Sunday Times :”In South Africa I bought a dilapidated house, I wanted to bring it
down, demolish some parts and then renovate it. We are honest people. We have
no money outside. We don’t have a house in Dubai. We rented a house there when
our son was studying there, but then he decided to go to South Africa to finish
his studies.”
Mugabe denied that he owned 21 farms insisting that “I only own one farm which I bought with my
own money.”
