Sulu Chimbetu returned to the stage after he was arrested and
hauled before a magistrate over maintenance arrears. He said he had no choice
but to soldier on.
“You need to develop a thick skin generally in life besides
being a celebrity. That is the art I have mastered despite everything I face in
life. Do I have to abandon a show because I am coming from court? Do I have to
go in hiding because I appeared in the media with something negative?” he
queried.
“We are performing at Club Las Vegas on Sunday. It’s a
family show and we are inviting all fans to come in numbers and have fun.
“It’s been long before we held a family show in Harare and
we are also returning to the venue by public demand after our performance there
on New Year’s Eve,” he told H Metro.
