Hurungwe West MP, Keith Guzah has bashed his lover and now faces arrest.

Guzah flew into a rage and attacked his girlfriend on Thursday. Police sources said the incident happened in Highlands, Harare. The alleged abuse was reported to the police and investigations are underway.

 It is understood the girlfriend sustained serious injuries and reported the matter to the police. This is not the first time Cde Guzah has made news for the wrong reasons. He was in the news in November last year for divorcing his wife of 24 years, Zandile Guzah nee Maseko.

In summons filed at the High Court, Cde Guzah sought a decree of divorce on the basis that the marriage had irretrievably broken down. In her plea, Zandile accused Cde Guzah of violent conduct, among other misdemeanours.

He was alleged to be violent towards his wife and children.
